a date

The last two months have been difficult and tiring. Finding all the forms needed and then filling them out was annoying and close to impossible. I'm talking about visa forms for Andrew. It turns out that in Poland every person needs 2 identification numbers: NIP (for your taxes) and PESEL (kind of like American insurance number). The funny (noooot) thing is that to get NIP you need PESEL and to get PESEL you need NIP. Funny, right? Fortunately, we are just waiting for the decision now. Hopefully Andrew will be able to stay in Poland legally for the next 2 years.

May is my favorite month (and one of the least fav for Andrew because of his allergies). Since the weather is super nice and it's a sin to stay inside for too long, we went on a date to the botanical garden in Łódź. We chose the last day of April because 2 days before I read an article about 50 thousand tulips there and I saw some magical photos of the place. It tuned out there were like 20k left and the place is huge and even we were tired of walking. On the bright sight, the place is pretty and colorful and the weather was perfect.

Catching Up

So it has been a while since we've posted on here and a few things have happened in the last 3 months. Some bad and some good. Weronika went back to Poland, unfortunately, at the beginning of December so we have been apart again for a little over 2 months. It's been tough but it's almost over. I got a job in Poland and I will be going to Poland in a few days so we will see each other again in less than a week.

Also, we have some big news to share. Let's see if you can guess...

Yep, that's right, Weronika like to slap herself. No, but really we got engaged and I couldn't be happier. We are going to be starting our lives together in Poland soon and I'm really looking forward to it.

One more nice piece of news, if you haven't already seen it on Facebook or Instagram, we spent a very romantic Valentine's Day together this year in Paris. It was an amazing experience and it can all be summed up in the beautiful picture we took in front of the Eiffel Tower...
